The V Specialized Exhibition "PTA-St. Petersburg, 2009" has successfully completed it's work on June, 26th.

On the 24th through 26th of June 2009 the V Specialized Exhibition "Progressive Technologies in Automation. PTA-St. Petersburg, 2009" was successfully completed with official support of the St.-Petersburg Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Union of the building organizations of St.-Petersburg, the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Center of building automation, the Northwest AVOK.

According to Kateneev V.I., the president of the St.-Petersburg Chamber of Commerce & Industry: "the exhibition which is traditionally held in St. Petersburg advances technology in the field of process automation , constitutes the core of modern and efficient industry, contributes to the development of international relationships , attracts the attention of Russian and international investor to the main problems of the industry."

The vice-president of ISA Bobovich A.V. considers that "The V Specialized Exhibition "PTA-St. Petersburg, 2009" attracts new investments, facilitates to the development of international relationships between all the market participants. It is a good opportunity to find a real mutual solution for each industrial enterprise of the region."

On the opening ceremony VIPA company was awarded by STA magazine for the project "Controllers VIPA operates production lines at Volkswagen factory".

Also, according to the decision of the International Society of Automation the winner of the competition "The best students’ project in the field of automation was Andrienko Grigorij Vladimirovich , the student of the St. Petersburg Institute of Aerospace Machinery".

More than 50 companies from Russia, Germany, Belgium , Korea took part in the exhibition. They presented new production samples, offered different solutions.

There were Compel, GeFanuc, Indasoft, NSI, PROSOFT, Schroff, SWD Software, SoftLink and other companies among them.

Besides the exposition the visitors had an opportunity to attend Joint Indasoft and Ge Fanuc seminar, Prosoft seminar, process Automation and Embedded Systems North-West Conference and many other seminars.

There were also held Siberia and Ural presentations, round table "Human resources role in the sphere of industrial automation".
